Experienced Practice Nurse with special interest in diabetes, wound care, health promotion, anticoagulation, chronic heart disease, chidlhood vaccinations and all general practice nurse duties.


 


 

Nurse Carol King

RGN, Nurse Prescriber


Experienced Practice Nurse with special interests in the management of chronic conditions such as asthma/copd. 


Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, and carry out cervical smears.

Free NHS Health Checks help you to prevent heart disease. stroke, diabetes and kidney disease.


If you are 40-74 years old and have no existing problems as listed above and are not already on medication for high blood pressure or high cholesterol you are welcome to book in for a health check. Please make an appointment with Joanne whose clinics are on Thursday mornings and Fridays afternoons.
